GB Lions Senior and Junior Trial details. February 4th



If you're heading along to either the GB Senior Open Trial in Bristol on Saturday 4 Feb, or the GB Junior Open Trial in Doncaster, also on Saturday 4 Feb, here's some useful additional info for you.


GB LIONS SENIOR - Saturday 4 February, Bristol
VENUE - Filton College, Bristol. http://www.filton.ac.uk/
TIMINGS - Registration 11.30am, on the field 12.30pm – 6.30pm.

* Cost for the trial is £20
* The venue is 3G Astroturf, so no metal bladed footwear.
* The first session will be physical measurables and then the second session positional/contact drills so bring your full football kit
* Offensive players should bring a white jersey, defensive players should bring a dark blue jersey, and QB trialists should bring red jerseys
* Please complete a registration form, and email it to nick_wasmuth@hotmail.com. Pre-registration is highly recommended to avoid being late on the day.

* Please turn up early even if you've pre-registered
* If you or your GM don'tt have a BAFA number for you, one will be allocated on the day


GB LIONS JUNIOR - Saturday 4 February, Doncaster
VENUE - Balby Carr College, Doncaster http://portal.balbycarr.org.uk/index.phtml?d=296993
TIMINGS - Registration 10am, on the field 11am – 5pm

* Cost for the trial is £20
* The venue is 3G Astroturf, so no metal bladed footwear.
* In games played during 2012, a player has to be born on or after January 1st 1993 to be eligible to play for the Junior GB Lions.
* The minimum age for players is 16
* Offensive players should bring a white jersey, defensive players should bring a dark blue jersey, and QB trialists should bring red jerseys
* Junior players must register beforehand by emailing their full name/DOB/BAFANL number/club/position/contact number/emergency contact number to nick_wasmuth@hotmail.com
* In order to participate, a consent form for under 18s must be completed and signed by a parent or guardian. This can be found in the downloads section of the BAFA website here: http://www.bafa.org.uk/downloads.aspx
* If you or your GM don't have a BAFA number for you, one will be allocated on the day

AND FOR GOD SAKE BRING SOME WARM CLOTHES! HYPOTHERMIA ISN'T COOL M'KAY!
